Our Pick · Selected by Best of Oxford MS
Personal picks, with a reason behind each one.
Best of Oxford MS is beginning with selections made by the site’s owner. From the best place to eat lunch to a favorite local shop, each feature will explain the choice and what makes that business worth discovering.
These selections will be labeled “Our Pick”. They reflect the owner’s judgment and are not the results of a public vote.
How it works today
01 · We choose a local favorite
The owner selects a business for a specific category, such as “Best Place to Eat Lunch in Oxford.”
02 · We tell its story
A dedicated blog feature will share the reasons behind the selection, useful business details, and what to look for when you visit.
03 · You discover something local
Use the features and business directory to find a new favorite and support Oxford-area businesses.
Community voting comes later.
As our readership grows, we plan to introduce community polls. We’ll announce the categories, dates, eligibility, and voting rules before any poll opens. Future community results will be labeled separately from “Our Pick” selections.
Public nominations and voting are not open. Our first editorial picks and their stories are coming soon.
For local businesses
A directory listing does not automatically make a business an “Our Pick” selection. Submit your business to the directory for review.
